Before you send your application packet in, we have a couple more tips for you! Our expert lawyers recommend that you:

  1. Keep your address up to date! If you have recently moved, a link at the end of your application with us will direct you to the AR-11 document to make a formal change of address.
  2. Make sure to include your filing fee payment when you mail the bundle of documents to USCIS. We recommend paying with a money order. A money order is prepaid, unlike a check, and is available at post offices and large retail stores. Always remember to make copies of money orders for your records! If you can, avoid paying by credit card and do not send in cash with your application
  3. Double check where to send the form! Locations change frequently and without notice, so be sure to take a look at USCIS’s website for the latest mailing location and payment amount.
  4. For mailing, although USPS may seem like the obvious option, it may be faster to mail via FedEx. FedEx can be more costly, but our attorneys think it is the most reliable method.

Now you are ready to file your I-765 form! Head on over to formally.us to begin your application.
